When will I receive payment for my participation?
For new users, you will receive an email after completing your first honoraria-eligible opportunity with instructions on how to set up your payment profile. Please allow up to 30 days for payment processing and delivery. This timeframe includes both the initial outreach and the setup process following your participation.
What forms of payment do you offer?
We offer digital checks and direct deposits.
New participants may be eligible to receive honoraria as digital gift cards*, delivered electronically through Giftogram and redeemable at select national retailers. Gift cards are available to new users earning under $500 in annual honoraria.
Once earnings reach this threshold, a W-9 form is required, and payments will transition to digital check or direct deposit to continue receiving honoraria. While IRS reporting begins at $600 in annual earnings, Skipta collects tax documentation in advance to ensure compliance and avoid payment interruptions.
Existing users who currently receive honoraria via direct deposit or digital check do not need to take any action—your payment method will remain the same. At this time, the gift card option is available only to new participants.
